2025 Affirmation

The Year of Rest

Genesis 2:1-3 (NLT)

So the creation of the heavens and the earth and everything in them was completed. 2 On the seventh day God had finished his work of creation, so he rested[a] from all his work. 3 And God blessed the seventh day and declared it holy because it was the day when he rested from all his work of creation.

This year I will accept the rest that God is giving me

Because I have sown tears in the past years, I will reap joy and take the rest that is required

As I complete my kingdom assignments, I will honor what he has declared as holy

I have worked hard to establish things for the kingdom, so now it's time for me to enjoy the rest

I will not stress in this next season, I will pause and let God take control

I will not allow any storms or chaos to disrupt me as I walk towards my kingdom posts

In this season, l will sleep well this year knowing my extraordinary level of peace has been given to me by God

Because this rest comes from God, My level of peace will allow me to live every day as if it is the Sabbath  

This Year I will step into an immeasurable amount of peace because I am determined to be led by Christ.
